China Eastern Airlines provides for 3 travel classes:
Economy Class: Passengers are allowed to take one hand baggage and one check-in bag for domestic flights and two check-in bags for international flights. This is the best budget fare option which provides for comfortable seating with adjustable footrests and headrests along with a laptop power points and individual TV screens. The guests can choose from Chinese and Western meal options on-board.
There is an additional fare option called the Basic Economy Fare and it is limited to international flights within Asia. The basic fare is less than the standard economy class fare but does not have a refund policy, upgrade policy or baggage allowance. The passengers can check-in at the airport and select their seats on the go.
Business Class: Passengers are allowed to take one hand baggage and one check-in bag for domestic flights and two check-in bags for international flights. The guests can relax with comfortable angles lie-flat seats which have built-in massage features. Laptop power points and individual, interactive entertainment systems, English and Chinese newsletters are also available for passengers to relax and enjoy their leisure time.
First Class: Passengers are allowed to take one hand baggage and one check-in bag for domestic flights and three check-in bags for international flights. The guests get access to convertible seats and exclusive cabin with a TV screen, duvet and a pillow. The guests can enjoy a scrumptious meal and relax with the amenity kit, slippers and pyjamas provided on board. Eatern Miles is the frequent flyer program for China Eastern Airlines. Members can earn mileage points by flying with the airline. These points can be redeemed for award tickets, award upgrade, value-added services. The mileage points can also be earned with the nation- airline partners in Hotels, Banks, Telecommunications, Car Rentals, Travel agencies etc. The points can also be used to gift flight tickets to loved ones. There are two levels of membership- Silver and Gold. Silver is attained by earning 40000 points within a year and Gold is attained by earning 80000 points within a year. Baggage allowance
Passengers are allowed to carry hand baggage which can weigh up to 10 kgs and the check-in bag can weigh up to 20 kgs for Super Economy and Economy Class, 30 kgs for Business Class and 40 kgs for First Class on domestic flights.
